Petronas Twin Towers
The Petronas Twin Towers are 452-metre, 88-storey postmodern skyscrapers in the heart of the Malaysia capital, Kuala Lumpur. A key landmark in Malaysia, they were the world's tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004 and are still the tallest twin towers ever built. Designed by César Pelli with an Islamic-geometry-inspired floor plan, the towers are connected by a 58-metre Skybridge between the 41st and 42nd floors at 170 metres. Visitors access the Skybridge and the Observation Deck on the 86th floor (370 m) on timed tickets. The towers anchor KLCC park, Suria KLCC mall, and the KLCC Lake Symphony fountain show.

George Town (Penang)
George Town on Penang Island is the historic capital of the Straits Settlements, UNESCO-listed since 2008. This city in Malaysia is famed for architecture reflecting its diverse Malaysia people (Chinese, Indian, Malay, Peranakan) and British colonial history. The shophouses along Armenian Street are a key sight. From 2012, the city's old walls have been painted by artists led by Ernest Zacharevic; 'Children on a Bicycle' on Armenian Street is the most photographed. George Town is also widely regarded as having the best street food in Southeast Asia: char kway teow, asam laksa, and cendol are the staples.
